Serverless Architecture
Pay for what you use. Scale to anything.
Servers you have to patch, scale and pay for around the clock are a tax on innovation. Most applications spend most of their time waiting.
We design serverless and event-driven systems that scale to zero when idle and to millions of requests when needed, so you ship faster and only pay for what you use.
What we do
From a single function to a whole platform.
Architecture design
Event-driven designs with managed functions, APIs, queues and databases that scale each part independently.
Consultation and strategy
Which workloads suit serverless, which do not, and the order to tackle them.
Development and implementation
Built with infrastructure-as-code and deployed through automated pipelines.
Integration and scalability
Connect serverless components to your existing systems and data.
Optimisation and cost reduction
Memory, concurrency and data access tuned so the pay-per-use model stays cheap.
Training and support
Workshops for your team and support once the platform is in production.
How an engagement runs
We start with the component where serverless gives the biggest, fastest return.
Landscape review
We analyse your current application and identify the components ripe for transformation.
Target architecture
A design for those components, with the trade-offs made explicit.
Build and ship
Implementation with your team, through your pipelines, with observability from day one.
Measure and expand
Cost and performance measured against the old setup before we take on the next piece.
What you get
Less to run, less to pay for, and faster to change.
Automatic scale
From zero to peak with no capacity planning.
Pay for actual usage
Nothing running means nothing to pay for.
Less to operate and secure
No servers to patch and a smaller attack surface.
Faster time to market
Teams ship features instead of maintaining infrastructure.
High availability built in
Managed services are redundant across zones by default.
Resilient by design
Decoupled components fail independently and recover on their own.
Questions, answered
Is serverless always cheaper?
No. It wins for spiky, event-driven and low-utilisation workloads. For steady, heavy compute, containers or reserved capacity can be cheaper. We tell you which is which.
What about vendor lock-in?
Managed services do couple you to a provider. We keep business logic portable and are honest about where the trade-off is worth it.
Can we go serverless gradually?
Yes, and we recommend it. Start with one component, measure the result, then expand.
